MMOexp CFB26: Running the Ball Feels Rewarding Again - Calista - 06-07-2025
In addition to new mascot animations and crowd celebrations, the in-game audio package has been enhanced. More stadium songs, band cues, and crowd chants are now tied to College Football 26 Coins in-game events, making each stadium feel unique and reactive.
Whereas 25 struggled with repetitive pregame and halftime sequences, 26 is noticeably more varied — and it feels like a more living, breathing representation of college football’s pageantry.
Running the Ball Feels Rewarding Again
One of the more frustrating aspects of last year’s game was the erratic behavior of offensive linemen, who often missed obvious blocks and ran downfield without purpose. That issue has been fixed. The revamped blocking engine now sees linemen making intelligent reads and assignments based on the play and defensive alignment.
This is further enhanced by the physics-based engine, which allows big running backs to shed arm tackles and push through traffic more effectively. Running between the tackles, once a gamble, now feels purposeful. Long gains are possible again, and runners with good vision will thrive.
These improvements not only make rushing the ball more rewarding, but also open up play-action and diversify offensive strategies.
Road to Glory Adds Strategy and Storytelling
Road to Glory has received a comprehensive overhaul in College Football 26. Players no longer play full high school games. Instead, each matchup offers four “moments” with individual goals. Completing those goals earns you “tape score” points, which determine scholarship interest from buy College Football 26 Coins schools.
